The reason for food crisis

1. Economic growth in world. Specially India, China and Africa which comprises more than half of the world’s population. Economic well being of such a large population has increased the demand for food world wide.

2. drought in Australia which is a major exporter of wheat.

3. Increased fuel price.

4. Land once used for agriculture now being you to grow cash crops.

5. Development (say : Hyderabad, Shamshabad) has caused several agricultural land to be converted in residential and industrial land.

6. Last but not the least,  wastage of food – In Middle East the wastage of food is more than that of its consumption; however we can’t say that this as a major reason for food crisis in the world.
